Benjamin Coker
A service will be held at 9 a.m. Friday in Batstone Funeral Home for Benjamin Franklin Coker who died Wednesday in Mason General Hospital. Interment will be in Shelton Memorial Park.
Mr. Coker was born March 29, 1907 in Seminole, Oklahoma. He was a mill worker in Elma for many years and had been a resident of Shelton for 20 years.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Mary E. Coker of Shelton; three daughters, Betty Kelley of Shelton, Edna Niels of Elma and Sylvia Nigro of Omaha, Nebraska; four sons, Calvin Coker, Robert Coker and Clyde Coker all of Shelton, and William Coker of Los Angeles, California; a sister Grace Lane of Bartelville, Oklahoma; 25 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
