Saxon - THOMAS GARLAND PLEMMONS, Sr., 71, husband of Mrs. DOCIA CASE PLEMMONS, of 9 Bell Street, died in the General Hospital at 9:30 p.m. Sunday after a brief illness.
Native of North Carolina; son of the late JACK and MAGGIE BROWN PLEMMONS; retired church sexton; member of the Inman First Free Will Baptist Church; Veteran of WW I.
Also surviving: sons, W FRANK PLEMMONS of Detroit, Michigan, THOMAS GARLAND PLEMMONS, Jr. of Saxon, MICHAEL B PLEMMONS of Egan, Illinois; sisters, Miss LEAH PLEMMONS and Mrs. BONNIE PARHAM of Spartanburg; nine grandchildren.
Services 3 Wednesday at Inman First Free Will Baptist Church by the Rev. EARL HENDRIX: burial in Whitney Free Will baptist Church Cemetery.
Family at home of a son, THOMAS G. PLEMMONS, at 8 Bell Street, will receive friends 7 to 9 Tuesday at Seawright Funeral Home in Inman. Body in church 2 Wednesday.
