SPRINGRANCHE.

Mr. and Mrs. Albright were passengers to Hastings Thursday where Mr. Albright was operated upon Monday to remove ulcers from the stomach. We understand he is very low. Mr. Albright has been in poor health for some time and we trust that operation will prove a success and that he will soon be well again. [LATER] Word comes to us that Mr. Albright died Tuesday afternoon.

Thomas M. Albright.

The subject of this sketch, Thomas M. Albright, was born in Skidmore, Mo., March 26, 1862. There he grew to young manhood and on September 21, 1880 (sic), he was united in marriage to Martha W. Brown. To this union five children were born, namely: Bertha, Gertrude, Anna, Neil and Pearl. Soon after their marriage the young people moved from Missouri to Nebraska in which state they have since lived and where all their children were born, the family home been near Springranch (sic) for the past twenty years.

Until three years ago Mr Albright seemed to enjoy good health, at which time he was siezed with a serious a serious sickness and his life was despaired of. He rallied and since had seemed to enjoyed fair health. About three months ago his condition grew worse and nothing that medical science or surgical skill could do gave him relief. He died in the Mary Lanning hospital in Hastings, Neb., May 25, 1915, aged 53 years, 1 month and 29 days.

When taken to the hospital he realized his condition and manifested no reluctance when he knew his summons was near. After an affectionate leave taking of his wife and daughters, who were present at his bedside, he quietly fell asleep. For many years the deceased had been a member of the Methodist Episcopal church, also of the M.W. of A. He leaves in great sorrow his wife, Mrs. Martha Albright, four children, Gertrude who died in infancy, Mrs. Bertha Kemp, Mrs. Anna Max, Neil, and Miss Pearl, also four brothers and four sisters, other relatives and many friends.

Funeral services were held Thursday afternoon at the M.E. church at Springranch (sic), and interment made in the cemetery at that place.
