Funeral services for Anthony Borowski, Sr., 91, were held at the Triska Chapel in Rosenberg at 2:30 p.m. Saturday afternoon, October 8, 1966, followed by Requiem Mass at the St. Theresa Catholic Church in Sugar Land at 3 p.m., with Rev. Jackson officiating.
Mr. Borowski was born in Poland on February 10, 1875. He had lived in Sugar Land since 1927. He passed away Friday morning, Octobber 7, at the Eldridge Memorial Hospital following a short illness.
Survivors are four sons, Pete Borowski of Rosenberg, and Walter, Stanley, and Tony of Sugar Land; three daughters, Mrs. Jane Bartnik and Mrs. Sophie Wronski of Massachusetts, and Mrs. Josephine Bezecny of Rosenberg; 15 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Bobby Borowski, Danny Borowski, Kenneth Bezecny, Johnnie Bezecny, Fritz Oberhoff, and Walter Pausewang.
Interment was in the West Garden of Gethsemane.
