Mr. Roberts died at Aiken Regional Medical Centers, Aiken,
SC after a lengthy illness.
George graduated from Andrew Jackson High School in
1952 and served as a military policeman in the U. S. ARMY
during the Korean Conflict. He had worked for the Times-Union
for many years in the circulation Department and later he
worked for Fire Defense.
Survivors include a son; a sister; a brother; and several
nieces and nephews.
