Former Pastor at Waterford Dies In Buchanan Rev. Richard J. Shreve of Buchanan, Mich., a former resident of Waterford; passed away yesterday morning at 12:30 o'clock at his home in Buchanan, where he has made his residence for several years past. Death was due to paralysis and complications, the deceased having been ailing for several years. He was 81 years old at the time of his death. Rev. Mr. Shreve lived in Waterford for a number of years and was pastor of the Brethren church there. He left there fifteen years ago and has been preaching at the Brethren church at Buchanan until his health failed. Surviving the deceased are the following sons and daughters: Robert I. Shreve of Waterford, who is now at Daytona Beach, Fla.; Hiram Shreve of Marion, Ind.; Mrs. Marion Pepple of Buchanan, and Mrs. John Plattz of Three Oaks. Sixteen grandchildren also survive. The funeral will be held at the Waterford M.E. church Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Interment will take place in this city at Greenwood cemetery. Rev. S. J. Burger, of Howe, Ind. will conduct the services.
