After the death of Mordecai Lincoln, Mary Robeson Lincoln married before, 17 January 1742, to Roger Rogers. Mordecai died when Mary Robeson Lincoln was an expectant mother. Her stepson John Lincoln was 21 years old and her four stepdaughters were only 9-12 years old. Her own two sons were 4 years and 6 years old.
Abraham Lincoln married Anna Boone.

Abraham Lincoln was a brother to the grandfather of President Lincoln. He was a resident of Berks County, and represented Berks County in the State Legislature and in the Constitutional Convention of 1790.
