Jodi, age 38, of the Town of Middleton, passed away on Thursday at Hospice surrounded by her family. She was born the daughter of Richard & Linda (Harness) Brown. Jodi graduated from Blue Valley High School, Overland Park, KS, in 1989. Following high school Jodi graduated with a bachelor's and master's degree from Kansas State University. She was employed by TDS for three years as a computer programmer. She is survived by her husband of 10 1/2 years, Stephen Carroll of the Town of Middleton, WI; two children, Claire and William at home; sister, Lisa (Tom) Vansaghi of Kansas City, MO; parents, Linda Brown of Overland Park, KS, and Richard (Jeanette) Brown of Leawood, KS; two nephews, Jack and Ben Vansaghi of Kansas City, MO; and many other relatives and friends. Funeral Services were held on Saturday at the Funeral Home, Madison, with Chaplain Linda O'Leary officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Pancreatic Cancer Action Network, 2141 Rosecrans Ave., Suite 7000, El Segundo, CA 90245; or to HospiceCare Inc., 5395 E. Cheryl Parkway, Madison, WI 53711, specifically directed to the Dori Bear Project. Joyce-Ryan Funeral Home and Cremation Services assisted with arrangements.
