He was the husband of Viola Jones Abrams and son of John and Hohnnie Gray Abrams. He was a former school teacher and a World War I Veteran. Funeral services were held Monday, May 17, 1976 at 4 p.m. at Sandy Plains ARP Church withe Rev. James Bell officiating. Interment was in the Church Cemetery.
