Donald Earl Marshall was born on Sept. 20, 1917 to William E. and Anna Marshall near Draper, SD where he grew to manhood. He left to find employment elsewhere; and made his home in Chicago, Ill. for some time. Later moving Valders, Wis., in the year 1961. He worked as a radio and TV repairman there, and was employed at Lauson Engineering Company of New Holstein. On Aug 7, 1946 he was united in marriage to Gertrude Rosin at Manitowac, Wis., at St. Peter's Lutheran Church. He is survived by his wife and a step-daughter, Mrs. Donald Skinas of RT. 2, Billion, Wis., also two sisters, Ethel Spear, Hot Spring, SD; Dorothea Roush, Draper and three brothers, O.W. Marshall, Frank and J. Edward, all of Draper. He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Anna E. Louder and Veta M. Marshall. In 1964 he became a member of Faith Lutheran Church at Valders. It was there the funeral services were held on May 8, at 1:30 p.m. Rev. Robert Onkka was in charge of the service. Soloist, Fred Brockman sang, "Just As I Am" and "Abide With Me." Interment was made in Our Savior Cemetery, at Valders, with Christiansen Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Those attending from Draper were: Mrs. Dorothea Roush, Frank Marshall, Mr. and Mrs. O. W. Marshall, Mr. and Mrs. Ed Marshall, and Richard Roush of Rapid City.
