Brownsboro, April 2 -Funeral services for Mrs. Aramenta Ellen Cotton, 80, who died at her home in Ben Wheeler Thursday, March 22, were held at the Ben Wheeler Baptist Church the following Friday afternoon at 3 o'clock.
The services were conducted by the Rev. Stanford of Ben Wheeler. Burial was in the Tidmore cemetery.

Mrs. Cotton, former resident of Brownsboro, was born in Alabama on March 17, 1865, the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. William Barkley. She was married there to Mr. Cotton in 1879, and to this union were born fifteen children, ten of whom survive.

Surviving are six daughters, Mrs. Lida Barton and Mrs. Bessie Walker of Brownsboro, Mrs. Faynett Grand of Jacksonville, Mrs. Dimple Thomas of Childress, Mrs. Eunice Weatherford of Seagoville and Mrs. Myrl Walsh of Ben Wheeler; and four sons, Quinton Cotton of Palestine, Hervery Cotton of Denison and Ray and Pen Cotton of Ben Wheeler.
