Mickey Louise Gunder was born on July 14, 1925, in Ardmore, Oklahoma, and died on February 1, 2010.

She is survived by her son, Byron Lee Davis and wife Michelle, daughter, Cladette Allen, ten grandchildren, many great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren, a half-brother, Victor Case, step-daughter, Patty Monfeli and husband Frank and step-son, Fred D. Gunder, Jr. and wife Susie. She was predeceased by her mother, Lola Abbott, father, Vic Case, two husbands, Clade D. Davis, Jr. and Fred D. Gunder, and one granddaughter, Debbie Allen Schindler.

She worked for over 40 years for the Nueces County District Clerk's office before retiring. She was very devoted to and loved the fraternal organizations she belonged to: Ladies of the Oriental Shrine; Daughters of the Nile (being a charter member in Corpus Christi); Social Order of the Beauceant (serving as treasurer for 34 years); and the Order of the Eastern Star (being a Past Matron of Oso Chapter and Travis Chapter 472). She was very proud of two special appointments she received in Eastern Star, which were serving as Grand Electa for one year and as Grand Representative of Oregon in Texas for two years.

She was a loving mother, grandmother and friend. Her family loves her and will miss her greatly.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 3, 2010 at Weed-Corley-Fish North Lamar.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 4, 2010 at Weed-Corley-Fish North Lamar Chapel. Interment will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, February 5, 2010 at Seaside Memorial Park in Corpus Christi, Texas.
