Norma Bilyeu, 89, of Burkburnett, died Friday, February 5, 2010.
The funeral service will be conducted at 10:00 a.m., Monday, February 8, 2010, at Central Baptist Church with the Rev. Duane Perkinson, pastor, officiating. Interment will follow at the Burkburnett Cemetery under the direction of Owens & Brumley Funeral Home of Burkburnett.
A daughter of the late Howard and Edna Mary (Jones) Janvier, she was born October 12, 1920, in Wilmington, Delaware. She was a long time member of Central Baptist Church and worked in their nursery for twenty-seven years. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Ace Bilyeu in 1974 and her twin sister, Thelma Howard. She will always be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother and was affectionately known as "Nanny" by everyone who knew her.
Survivors include her daughters, Vivian Morgan of Burkburnett; Dorothy Gates of Newport, Tennessee; and Linda Wilton of Burkburnett; sons, Bill Morris of Pampa; Joe Bilyeu and Donnie Bilyeu, both of Burkburnett; Ace Bilyeu, Jr. of Arkansas; and David Bilyeu of Iowa Park; twenty-four grandchildren; forty-one great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren; brother, Bob Janvier of Wilmington, Delaware; also many nieces and nephews.
Serving as pallbearers will be: Donald Morgan, Jimmy Morgan, Gary Lee Howard, Craig Bilyeu, David Allen Bilyeu, Billy Joe Bilyeu and Scott Clark.
The family will receive friends from 4:00 until 5:00 p.m., Sunday, February 7, 2010, at Owens & Brumley Funeral Home of Burkburnett.
