Mrs. Alice Pitner. since girlhood a resident of Decatur, died Monday morning at 1 o'clock in the home of her father, W. B. Robinson, 957 West Wood street. Mrs. Pitner had been in ill health for 12 months, and a considerable portion of that period had been a patient in Macon County hospital, where last October she submitted to a surgical operation in the hope of getting relief.

Alice Robinson was born Oct. 4, 1872, in Sangamon county, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. B. Robinson, who came to Decatur in 1882. She was married to Frank Pitner in June, 1901; his death occurred the January following.

Mrs. Pitner was a member of First Presbyterian church and greatly interested in all of the activities of that congregation. She was a member of Decatur Woman's club and served several years as secretary treasurer of that organization.

She leaves her father, W. B. Robinson, and her brother; John B. Robinson.

The body was taken to the undertaking rooms of L. A. Monson. Funeral services will be at 4 o'clock this afternoon, in the home of her father, 957 West Wood street. Friends are requested to send no flowers.
