Mrs. Agnes Hood, 55, died Sunday, Jan. 8, 1978, at her home in Overland. She was born June 25, 1922, in Jefferson City, a daughter of Frank M. and Mary Knollmeyer Knaebel. Jan. 28, 1942, she was married in Jefferson City to Oscar Hood, who survives of the home.

Other survivors include: five sons, Joseph Hood and James Hood, both of Overland; Donald Hood, Charles Hood and Vincent Hood, all of the home; three daughters, Mrs. Patricia Jamison, state of Florida; Mrs. Ruth Czevery and Mrs. Ann Mohan, both of Overland; one brother, Joseph Knaebel, Moberly; one sister, Mrs. Helen Marie Scheppers, Jefferson City; her stepmother, Mrs. Rose Knaebel, Jefferson City; three half-brothers, Francis Knaebel and James Knaebel, both of Jefferson City; Arthur Knaebel, Kansas City; and one half-sister, Mrs. Rose Dorge, Jefferson City, and 11 grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at 9 a.m. Wednesday at the All Souls Catholic Church in Overland, where Mrs. Hood was a member.

The Ortman Funeral Home in Overland was in charge of the arrangements.

Mr. and Mrs. Norbert Knipp, Tipton, Mrs. Beatrice Jobson, Sedalia, and Mr. and Mrs. Norbert Schuster, Pilot Grove, attended the funeral services for their sister-in-law, Mrs. Hood.
