Clara Louise Allen
Clara Louise Allen, 60, Springfield, died at 1 p.m. Tuesday in her home.
She was born June 29, 1935, and was a lifelong resi­dent of Springfield. She was always busy with church and had many hobbies. She was known for writing religious po­etry, of which 30 were pub­lished with some awards.
She is survived by her hus­band, James Edward; three daughters and their husbands, Vickie and Cameron Longa-necker, Rita and Harry Fowler and Chastity Ann Allen and her fiance, Clint Pratt.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday in Greenlawn Funeral Home North with the Rev. Larry Hinds officiating. Burial will be in Bass Chapel Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 7 to 8 p.m. today in the funeral home.
Clara Louise Allen is in heaven with the angels today. Her memory will live on earth with us, I'd like to say. We will still feel her hugs and see her smiling face. She can now take The world at her very own pace. There will always be a place in our hearts with loving memories of her forev­er. - From family.
