Joseph E. Brooks (Joe) Sr., age 80, of 2511 Grove Place SW, died Wednesday at Timken Mercy Hospital. He was the son of the late William E. and Vinnie Crowl Brooks and was retired from Don Williams Funeral Home. Survived by his widow Marjorie (nee Burk); two sons, James A. of Oklahoma and Joseph E. Jr., of Canton; one daughter, Mrs. Donald (Maewirth) Ritchey of North Canton; one half-brother, Walter Brooks of North Canton; one half-sister, Mrs. Sam (Aline) Adams of Phoenix, Ariz., and six grandchildren.
