Barbara B. Kessler, (nee Burk) age 80, of 3883 Columbus Rd. NE, Canton, was pronounced dead on arrival, Friday, at Timken Mercy Medical Center, following a sudden illness. Born in Canton, March 6, 1903, she lived in Stark County all of her life. She worked for 23 years for the Hoover Co., retiring in 1965. She was a member of St. Peter's Catholic Church of Canton. Her husband, Fabian D. Kessler, died in 1971. Survived by one son, Robert B. of Canton; one daughter, Mrs. James (Jeannie) Casper of Canton; one sister, Mrs. Rose Walpole of Hollywood, FL,; two brothers, Aaron Burk of North Port, FL, Edward Burk of Canton; eight grandchildren, Robert Kessler Jr., Daniel Kessler, Karen Peterman, Kathy Gay, Barbara Schick, Candice Tolin, Mary Ann Casper, Jane Ann Casper. Preceded in death by two sisters, Irene and Marge; two brothers, George and Albert.
