Born February 14, 1918 in Quincy, Illinois, she was the loving daughter of the late Bertha and Robert Buerkin.
She was the beloved wife of the late Leslie Carl Hyndman. She is survived by her daughter Patricia, son-in-law Stephen, and grandsons Jonathan and Cameron Summers.
Virginia enjoyed bridge, bowling, and gardening. She was an active member and past president of West Covina Women's Club.
A short visitation will be held on Saturday February 13, 2010 at 9:00 a.m. at Custer Christiansen Mortuary, 124 South Citrus Avenue, Covina, followed at 12:30 p.m., with The Holy Rosary and Funeral Mass, in St. Monica Catholic Church, 725 California Avenue, Santa Monica.
She will be buried at Greenmount Cemetery in Quincy, Illinois.
