Mrs. Charlotte Baughman
Mrs. Charlotte Baughman, widow of Hon. John W. Baughman, died in Wooster last Wednesday afternoon at her home on East Bowman Street. Her age was 72 years. She was born in Dalton, a daughter of Peter Barkdull, a pioneer of Wayne County. All her life she resided in Wayne County, and for many recent years in Wooster. Her death was sudden, although for several months she had been ill from heart trouble and other ailments. She was a woman much esteemed by a large circle of friends for her amiable qualities and friendship. Surviving are her two daughters, Miss Charlotte Baughman, teacher in Wooster public schools, and Mrs. Emily Cass, with whom she had been making her home since her husband's death. She was a member of Presbyterian church. The funeral services were held at the home Friday afternoon. The remains were on Saturday forenoon conveyed to Dalton for interment.
