Pleasantville -- William Bowser, aged 73, died Saturday at his home here, after an illness of several months of heart trouble. He was a retired farmer. Mr. Bowser was a son of John and Catherine (Berkheimer) Bowser, both deceased and was born June 11, 1863, near Osterburg. He was twice married. His first wife, Mrs. Sarah Elizabeth (Claycomb) Bowser, died many years ago. Surviving are his second wife, the former Maude Wolf, and these children, all born to the first union: Charles Bowser of 1909 Coleman Avenue, Johnstown; Mrs. Roy Baumgardner of Ogletown; Ross Bowser of Berlin; Mrs. Taylor McCreary of Mineral Point and Ada Horner of Windber. A son, John Bowser, born to the second union, also survives. Mr. Bowser was a brother of Lander Bowser of Clearfield County and Charles Bowser of Claysburg. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 o'clock tomorrow afternoon at the Bowser home by Rev. Martin l. Kaufman, pastor of the local Evangelical Church, assisted by Rev. Rayford Feathers, pastor of the New Paris Evangelical Church. Interment will be in the Anderson Cemetery near here.

Mrs. Sarah Bowser, wife of William Bowser, of near Cessna, died Saturday night, of typhoid pneumonia. She leaves a husband and five children. The remains were interred in the Anderson cemetery near Cessna on Monday. The whole community sympathizes with the bereaved family. Rev. Frederick, of the Evangelical church, preached the funeral sermon at the house
