James Earnest "Jimmy" Harwell born December 18, 1933 went to be with his Lord on Saturday, February 6, 2010.
He was a native of Mobile, Al, served in the U.S. Marine Corps, and worked at the U.S. Post Office for 28 years before retiring. He was a man devoted to his family and his church. He lived his testimony each day by the way he lived his life for the Lord Jesus Christ. He was a member of Oak Park Church of God.
Preceded in death by his wife, Kathryn Harwell. Survived by his brother, George (Barbara) Harwell of Chickasaw, AL, Sisters, Lela Knowles of Atlanta, GA, and Dolly Langley of Atlanta, GA. 5 children, Helen (Bobby) Chance of Pelman, AL, Danny (Jackie) Grissett of Andalusia, AL, Kathy (Rufus) Kelsoe of Georgianna, AL, Sandra Wilkins of Mobile, AL, and Tim (Angela) Harwell of Theodore, AL, 13 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, along with other relatives and special friends.
