Gordon Oliver Harper, 82, passed away on Monday, February 8, 2010. He was born January 24, 1928 in Blackshear, GA to the late Morgan and Della Harper.

Gordon is preceded in death by a brother, Eddie Harper; 3 sisters, Loise Coleman, Lilla Beckum and Bertha Tuten; and 1 grandson, Kenneth Harper.

He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Latrel C. Harper; 3 sons, Stephen Harper of Griffin, GA, Kenneth Harper (Kay) of Tifton, GA and Gary Harper (Kathy) of Middleburg, FL; 7 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, February 11, 2010 at 11:00 AM in the chapel of Cedar Bay Funeral Home, 405 New Berlin Road, Jacksonville, with Pastor Brooks Monk officiating.
