Annie went blind from diabetes shortly after Adolph died.

OBITUARY: "Annie Sena Lichtsinn Boll was born on May 13, 1918 at Lake Benton, MN to Herman and Sena Bruns Lichtsinn. She grew to womanhood and attended school in the Lake Benton area.

On February 17, 1937 she was united in marriage to Adolph Boll in Elkton, SD. They lived and farmed in the Lake Benton and Verdi area.

In 1947 they moved to Pipestone where Mr. Boll worked as a carpenter. He died on May 19, 1959. Mrs. Boll continued to make her home in Pipestone and was a member of Our Saviour's Lutheran Church of Pipestone. She died very suddenly from an apparent heart attack on Monday, January 23. She was 59.

She is survived by her three children: Kenneth Boll of Atascadero, CA, Violet (Mrs. Jay Townley of Oak Park, Ill and Dianne, (Mrs. Gregg Olsen) of Sioux Falls; six grandchildren; one sister, Irene (Mrs. Marvin Schnepf of San Luis Obispo, CA) and other relatives.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband. Services were held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, January 26 at Our Saviour's Lutheran Church in Pipestone. The Rev. John Schleicher officiated. Special music was provided by Mrs. Gloria Smidt, vocalist and Mrs. John Crawford, organist.

Pallbearers were Harry Anderson, Ervin, Henry, Elmer and Fred Boll and Fred Steuck. Interment was in New Woodlawn Cemetery at Pipestone."
