Claude B. Westerman, 73, died Sunday at Bashford East Healthcare Center. He was a retired employee of Durkee's Foods where he worked 46 years, an Army veteran of World War II and a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 5636. Survivors: a brother, John H. Westerman of New Albany; and two sisters, Helen R. Berens and Armella Gadlage. Funeral: 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, St. Elizabeth Catholic Church, 1020 E. Burnett Ave., with burial in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation at Russman & Son Funeral Home, 1041 Goss Ave., from 1 to 9 p.m. Tuesday.
