Neva B. Comer, 90, of Elkton passed away on Friday, April 18, 2014, at the Harbor nursing home in Stanardsville. Neva was born on December 3, 1923 in Greene County. She was the daughter of the late Gilbert and Mary Dean and was also preceded in death by her husbands, Ishmal Baugher, Sr. on July 31, 1965, and William "Bill" Comer on December 8, 2005, and sisters, Wilma Dean, Lelia Bickers, Anna Roach, and Chellie "Hazel" Bruce.

Mrs. Comer was a member of the Evangelical Presbyterian Church in Elkton. She worked as a seamstress at Elkton Sleepwear and also worked hard being a devoted mother, wife, grandmother, and friend to those that knew her.

Her surviving family includes her sons and daughter-in –laws, Ishmal W. Baugher II and Judy and Douglas A. Baugher and Brenda, all of Elkton; five grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandson; a brother-in-law, Bennie Deane; and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends at the Kyger Funeral Home in Elkton on Monday, April 21, 2014 from 6-8pm. A private graveside service will be held on Tuesday at Eastlawn Memorial Gardens in Harrisonburg, with the Rev. Dr. Robert Buchanan officiating.
