James Reid Stahlman, 54, of 4760 Pare Lane, Trenton, Mich., an area native, died Tuesday (December 30, 1986) at his residence. Born January 21, 1932, in Renfrew, he was a son of J. Reid and Edna Berlin Stahlman.
He married the former Connie Mae Shuler on June 1, 1956. She survives. He was graduated in 1950 from Emlenton High School. Mr. Stahlman was a Navy veteran, serving during the Korean Conflict. Mr. Stahlman was a foreman for Edwin Levy Co.
Surviving, in addition to his wife are: two sons, Roger Stahlman of Trenton, Mich., and Dennis Stahlman of Houston, Texas; a daughter, Mrs. Scott (Teresa) Sinel of Austell, Ga; his stepmother Amanda Stahlman McGinnis of Emlenton; two brothers, Robert D. Stahlman of Wellsville, NY., and Leland D. Stahlman of Port Allegany; and two grandchildren, Travis and Melanie Sinel of Austell, Ga. He was preceded in death by his mother in 1932 and his father in 1980.
Friends may call from 7 to 9 pm Saturday and noon to 2 pm Sunday at the Crismell-Gardinier Funeral Home in Emlenton. Services will be at 2 pm Sunday in the funeral home, with Rev. Edward Clark of Rankin Chapel United Methodist Church, officiating. Interment will be in the family burial plot in Crawford Memorial Cemetery.
