OLLIE OSCAR CRAVEN SR., 74, died at 12:30 p.m. Thursday at his home at 3609 Parthenia Ave. He was a native of Marion County, Kentucky and was a retired electrician for the B. F. Goodrich Corp. He was a member of the Carlisle Avenue Baptist Church. Survivors include his widow, the former Nancy Angela Gilkey; five daughters, Mrs. Everett Elkins, Mrs. Paul Suter and Mrs. Jack Jones; four sons, Verland A., Emanuel R., Lemuel C. and Ollie Oscar Craven Jr.; 16 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Arch L. Heady & Son Southern Home, 3601 Taylor Blvd. Burial will be in Louisville Memorial Gardens.
