Lloyd P. Warrington, 75, of the 2800 block of Shore Drive, a real estate developer and former owner of four area McDonald's Restaurants, died June 21, 1990, in his home.

A native of Arlington, Mr. Warrington was a partner in the first McDonald's franchises in Tidewater. He operated the restaurants in Norfolk, Hampton, Portsmouth and Virginia Beach for several years, then sold them to the franchiser, McDonald's Corp. of Chicago. In the 1950s, he began developing real estate tracts for commercial and residential properties. He developed properties in Norfolk, Virginia Beach and Duck, N.C.

Mr. Warrington was a member of Christadelphian Church, Norfolk, and was the widower of Lucille G. Warrington. He was a former member of Suburban Kiwanis Club and the Norfolk Sports Club. He served in the Coast Guard during World War II.

Survivors include a daughter, Ann W. Bray of Virginia Beach; two sisters, Erma Harn of Venice, Fla., and Eunice Johansen of South Hill, Va.; a brother, David Warrington of Virginia Beach; and two grandchildren.

The graveside service will be conducted at 3 p.m. Saturday in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens by Benjamin F. Matthias Jr. Friends may join the family from 7 to 8 p.m. today in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Bayside Chapel.

Memorial donations may be made to the Christadelphian Church Helping Fund, 3930 Llewellyn Ave., Norfolk, Va. 23504; to the Kiwanis Suburban Norfolk Foundation, P.O. Box 10411, Norfolk, Va. 23518; or to the Ocean Park Rescue Squad.
