Eugene Alphonsus Brady served as a CM 1 (Carpenter's Mate, 1st Class) in the United States Navy Reserve during World War II.

He was a son of Jacob Francis Brady and Mary Ellen Gertrude (McCall) Brady.

He entered active service with the U.S. Navy on October 9, 1943 at Gettysburg, Pennsylvania.

He served in the 20th Naval Construction Battalion.

He then served in the 82nd Naval Construction Battalion until November 1, 1945.

He received his discharge from the Navy on November 11, 1945 at Bainbridge, Maryland.

He died when his car was struck by a train in Jackson Township, York County, Pennsylvania.

He was originally from Menallen Township, Adams County, Pennsylvania.

He was interred in the Gettysburg National Cemetery on December 27, 1961.
