He received his discharge from the Navy on November 11, 1945 at Bainbridge, Maryland.
He died when his car was struck by a train in Jackson Township, York County, Pennsylvania.
He was originally from Menallen Township, Adams County, Pennsylvania.
He was interred in the Gettysburg National Cemetery on December 27, 1961.
