Maye Belle Ogle, 85, of Hurst, Texas, died Saturday, Sept. 18, 2004, at Bishop Davies Nursing Home in Hurst, Texas.
She married Homer Dan Ogle on Feb. 5, 1968, in Morton, Texas. She grew up and lived in Halfway, Texas, most of her life. She operated Halfway Grocery until 1966, when she began farming. She was active in the Halfway Baptist Church.
She was born on May 6, 1919, in Plainview, Texas, to Henry and Gladys Greenhaw.
She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; and a brother.
Survivors include three daughters, Sylvia Harmon of Claude, Texas, Gladys Pinkerton Whisenhunt (and husband, Keith) of Azle, Texas, and Rhonda; a son, Billy Ward Pinkerton of Abernathy, Texas; a step-son, Danny Ogle (Jan) of Clovis; three step-daughters; a brother, John D. Hendrick (Marion) of Ingram, Texas; a sister, Mary Lee Pinkerton of Plainview, Texas; a sister-in-law, Sally Hendrick of Houston; eight grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Darwin Cox will officiate the services.
Burial will be at Plainview Memorial Park in Plainview, Texas.
Arrangements are by Wood-Dunning Funeral Home of Plainview, Texas.
