She was born May 27, 1914, at Minden, the daughter of the late James F. and Hulda (Johnson) Nielsen. She grew up at Upland moving to Culbertson in 1929. She graduated from Trenton High School in 1932.
On June 2, 1937, she married Alex Koler at McCook and they spent their lives in McCook.
From 1963 to 1970 she was a registered dental assistant to Dr. McKinty. She was a member of Eureka Chapter 86, Order of Eastern Star and the Burlington Veterans Association.
She was preceded in death by her husband Alex on Oct. 17, 1974; step-daughter Irene Koler; four brothers, Virgil, Milton, William and Russell Nielsen; three sisters, Isabelle, Keiley and Dorothe Robertson.
Survivors include one daughter, Karole Suttie of Gouett, Ontario, Canada; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; four nephews, including Roger Moreau and wife, Susan of McCook; five nieces, relatives and friends.
