PLAINVIEW - Mrs. J.P. (Stella Wattenburger) McPheron, 84, former longtime resident of Chillicothe who came here with her husband in 1945, died at her home Wednesday after a long illness.
She was the former Stella Wattenburger and was born in Springfield, Missouri. She was married in 1897 at Denton.
Besides her husband, she is survived by four sons, Luther Earl McPherson of Chillicothe, John Elmer McPherson and James Reed McPherson of Plainview and Williams Reeves McPherson of Vernon.
Funeral services will be held at 3:30 Thursday in First Methodist Church with burial in Memorial Park.
