Unionville- W.C. (Curt) Stewart, 93, of R. 1, Unionville, died Thursday afternoon at the Arbutus Rest Home in Monroe County, Indiana. He was a retired street contractor and a member of the Unionville Baptist Church.
Survivors are a daughter, Mrs. Maxine Richardson and a grandson, Bill Hawkins, both of Unionville. He was preceded in death by his wife, Maude, in 1963, and by two brothers and two sisters.
Funeral services will be Saturday at 2:30 p.m. at the Greene & Harrell Chapel, with the Rev. Eric Ryser officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery.
Casketbearers will be William Belcher, Robert Hinkle, Grover and Leftie Stewart, Marion Douglas, and Robert Cooper. Friends may call at the funeral home until 9:30 p.m. today and from 9:30 a.m. until time for the service on Saturday.
