Cody P. "Motion" Gaudet, 19, a native of Houma and resident of Labadieville, died Monday, Feb. 8, 2010.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to funeral time Saturday at St. Philomena Catholic Church in Labadieville. Mass will be 1 p.m. Saturday at the church, with burial in the church cemetery.
He is survived by his parents, Celeste and John; his biological father, Michael Braud; his Dad, Jason Boudreaux; two sisters, Brie' and Kerstin Christenson; one brother, Kade Christenson; two grandmothers, Dianne Gaudet and Yvonne Christenson; three grandfathers, Earl Gaudet, Clarence Christenson and Gerald Boudreaux; his great-grandmother, Marie Ponvelle; seven uncles, Brad Gaudet, Arthur Pennison Sr., Scott Christenson, Brent Christenson, Rod Christenson, Brent Meaux and Pete Boudreaux; four aunts, Angelette Pennison, Nancy Boudreaux, Heidi Meaux and Susan Braud; eight cousins, Arthur Pennison Jr., Renne' Pennison, Thaddeus Pennison, Ben Boudreaux, Zack Boudreaux, Aimme and Scott Bird, and Rodney Braud; and a host of family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Brenda Boudreaux; his great-grandfather, Eddie Ponvelle; his great-grandmother, Gertrude Gaudet; and his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Louis P. Braud.
