Leonard L. Mohr, 70, Beaver Dam, died Tuesday, October 2 at Hillside Hospital after failing health the past year.
Funeral services will be from the Briese Funeral Home, Friday, October 5 at 2 pm with Rev William Stevens officiating. Interment will be in Highland Memory Gardens.
He was born in the Town of Randolph to Mr. and Mrs. Conrad Mohr. On June 22, 1957 he married Evelyn Johnston of Superior. He lived in Portage until 1951 where he operated Old Fort Tavern 1942-49 and in 1951 moved to Beaver Dam where he owned and operated Mohr Dry Cleaning 1951-1962 and had been a service station attendant the past few years.
Survivors are his wife Evelyn, one son, Melvin, Madison; one daughter Mrs. Howard (Darlene) Gerbitz, Pardeeville; 13 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; one brother, Arthur, Portage; one sister, Mrs. Ruby McSorley, Minneapolis, Minn; nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister.
Friends may call at the Briese Funeral Home after 4 pm Thursday until the hour of service on Friday.
