Hazel M. Cornellisson was born August 23, 1890 at Watervflle, Kansas, the daughter of James Albert and Carrie May Longbon Witthite. She passed away Wednesday, May 10, 1989 at the Minneapolis Good Samaritan Center,^ having reached, the age of 98 years, 8 months and 17 days.

She graduated from Barnard High School and taught in the rural Lincoln county schools for two years. She was united in marriage to Frank Cornellisson, Jr. Nov. 27, 1912, at Lincoln. They lived on a farm east of Barnard. He preceded her in death Dec. 8, 1925. She continued to live on the farm until making her home with her daughter Louise in 1973.

Hazel was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Minneapolis, and the Milo Helping Hands Club.

Survivors include three daughters, Caroline Neywick of Cadiz, KY, Louise Vinduska of Ada and Katherine Eikenhorst of Manhattan; one sister Goldie Zenor of Los Angeles, CA; 12 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by a daughter Emily Boucek and a sister Emily King.

Funeral mass was held Saturday, May 13,10:00 a.m. at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Minneapolis with Monsignor James E. Hake officiating. Rosary service was held May 12, 7:30 p.m. at Shields Funeral Home. Organist was Carrie Cooper. Casket bearers were Frank Boucek, Robert Plummer, John Boucek, Albert Vinduska Jr., Richard Boucek and Kenneth Neywick. Interment was in St. Francis Borgia Cemetery,-Ada.
