Larry Keith Rauch 1st born son of Teresa Louise and Junior Toney Rauch passed away in his sleep on April 22, 2008.
Larry was born on Sept 26, 1948 in Leon, Iowa. The family moved to Burlington, Iowa in the early 1950's then to Des Moines where Larry attended various schools graduating in 1967. In April of 1970 Larry took off for Johannesburg, South Africa. His mission? Training horses!! A job that he enjoyed until his last days. In South Africa Larry met and married Brenda [Viv] Sally Turton. To this union 2 sons were born Tony and Brian. Viv brought into this marriage Dudley, her son from a previous marriage.
After the death of their son Tony, Larry and Viv divorced.
Larry met Michelle Gallentine and fathered 2 daughters Victoria Kendra and Elizabeth Christine, Sadly, SIDS took Victoria.
Years later Larry married Lana Baker. Lana died on May 27th, 2007.
Preceding Larry in death, his wife Lana, his mother Teresa, father Junior, sister Stephanie, son Tony and daughter Victoria.

He was born in Leon, Iowa, September 26, 1948. He worked as a Horse Trainer.
Larry was preceded in death by his wife, Lana Baker- Rauch; daughter, Victoria; son, Tony; and his parents.
He was a member of the Iowa Quarterhorse Association.
Larry is survived by his sons, Brian (Christine) of Mercer, PA, Jim (JoAnn) Duncan of Cape Town, South Africa; step-sons, Denny (Julie) Baker of Carlisle and David Baker of Des Moines; daughter, Elizabeth (Raymond) Boten of Collins; brother, Danny West of Sunset, UT; sisters, Bette (Bill) Mertz, Anita (Michael) Heilman of Des Moines; six grandchildren; and special friend, Cheryl Burney of Des Moines.
Graveside services and a "Celebration of Life" will be held at a later date.
