Services Held for Russell Fruchey
Funeral services for Russell C. Fruchey, 67, were held Sunday afternoon from the Hall Funeral Home. The Rev. Lawence Grubaugh of the Beaverton Methodist church officiated and burial was made in the Highland cemetery.
Mr. Fruchey was born in Columbus Grove, Ohio, on May 26, 1887. He came to Gladwin with his parents, John B. and Barbara (Miller) Fruchey, in 1901, settling in Grout-township. He had been a resident of Beaverton for many years, passing
away on Tuesday morning, May 27.
Surviving are two sons, Dewey Fruchey and Russell W. Fruchey, of Beaverton; three brothers, George Fruchey of Beaverton, Lawrence Fruchey of Breckenridge,
Corwin Fruchey of Gladwin; one sister, Mrs. Mary Ervay, of Breckenridge; also six grandchildren.
