Riverton - Lewis Vernon (Red) Bowman, 43, of 15381 S. Camp Williams Road, died Dec. 7, 1975, in Sandy.
Born March 30, 1932, Virginia, Idaho, to Edith S. Bowman. He married Hazel Ferre, Dec. 24, 1949 at Vineyard, Utah County. He was a general contractor; brickmason; heavy duty construction worker; self-employed.
Survivors: wife; sons and daughters, Lewis Eugene, U.S. Army, Germany; Dennis Reed, U.S. Navy, San Diego; Marie Delene, American Fork; Mrs. Dan (Daniece) Richins, Salt Lake City; four grandchildren; mother, Mrs. Edith B. Kendall, Ogden; brothers and sisters, Dean Kendall and Dan Kendall both of Ogden; Mrs. Rex (Donna) Howell, Riverdale, Weber County.
Graveside services Friday 11 a.m., Redwood Memorial Estates, 6500 S. Redwood Road. Friends may call at Goff Mortuary, 8090 S. State on Thursday from 6-8 p.m., and Friday one hour before services.
