Warner Robins, GA: Mr. Thurmond Russell Cooper, 78, passed away in a local hospital Thursday, February 12, 2010. Funeral Services will be held at the First Christian Church at 2:00 PM on Monday, February 15, 2010, with Rev. Darrell Vandervort and Rev. Bruce Brookshire officiating.

Interment will be in Magnolia Park Cemetery. Mr. Cooper was born December 3rd, 1931 to the late Mr. and Mrs. William Dennis Cooper and Mary Amanda Clemmons. He was preceded in death by a grandson Grant Cooper. Russell was a veteran of the United States Air Force and a retired Civil Service Electronics Technician. He was the president of the Warner Robins Duplicate Bridge Club. Russell is

survived by his wife Judith Cooper of Warner Robins, Daughter Nancy Marie (Alan) Hancock, Phenix City, AL; Sons; Tony (Judy) Cooper of Macon, GA; Rusty Cooper and Kenneth Cooper both of Warner Robins, GA; Adopted Sons; Johnny Babb of Warner Robins, GA and Hung Lam of Marietta; Step-daughter Dawn (Chris) Farrell of Front Royal, VA; Step-Son Ronald (April) Kuitko of Longview, TX; Brother, Billy (Betty) Cooper, Milledgeville, GA a special niece Nell Kelly, of Bonaire, GA also twelve Grandchildren and five Great Grandchildren.
