She was born in Minneapolis, March 10, 1895, the daughter of Anton and Mary Cornellison Schmidt. Besides her parents, she is survived by two sons, Max of Minneapolis and Gerald of Ada, one granddaughter, Geraldine of Ada and two sisters, Mrs. John Petlock of Chicago and Mrs. Hardy Gray of Minneapolis.
Mrs. Grout was a member of the Catholic church. The Rosary service was held at the R.S. Todd Funeral Home, Friday evening and funeral services at the Chatholic church in Minneapolis, Saturday morning with Father Koerperich officiating. Burial was in the Ada Cemetery.
