Mary Elizabeth Greer (Sheridan) (Smith) McMichael was born October 5, 1921, in Sand Springs, Oklahoma to Curtis S. and Elizabeth Amelia (Tracy) Greer. She was given her angel wings on Valentine's Day, February 14, 2010, at the age of 88. Mary was an American Airlines stewardess beginning in 1944. Later, she served as secretary to three Tulsa mayors in the 1950s. Her passions were travel, art, her dogs, and charity work. Preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Ollie Burris; her husbands, George Sheridan, Noble Smith, and Jack McMichael, Sr.; Mary is survived by her sister, Margaret Vetters; niece, Greer Calhoun; step daughter, Susie (Smith) Straus; and a host of extended family members and friends. Mary will lie in state Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. at Ninde Brookside Funeral Home. The interment at Woodland Memorial Park Cemetery, Sand Springs, at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday will be followed by a memorial service at 11:00 a.m. at Ninde Brookside Funeral Home. A reception at 2300 Riverside Dr. will immediately follow the memorial service.
