Fred M. Bennett
Fred M. Bennett died at his home in Amsterdam, Sunday, of a heart ailment. Just a month before he had been here in Milford to attend the funeral of his father, J. M. Bennett.
He was born in Otego, January 27, 1884, a son of James M. Bennett and Jennie Chase Bennett. For Several years during his boyhood, the family home was where Charles Cesark and family now reside.
In 1910 he moved to the Mohawk Valley.
On May 18, 1912 he was married to Miss Marion Campbell of Westerly, R.I., who survives.
A prayer service was held at the home Tuesday night, and burial will be at Westerly, R.I., Wednesday.
He is also survived by one sister, Mrs. Stella B. Brazeau of Los Angeles, who had been here with her father, J.M. Bennett during his last illness and death, and had started to return to her home, when she learned of the serious illness of her brother. He is also survived by two nephews and two nieces, and by many more distant relatives.
