A Portland resident for 84 years, George Henry Simpson of 3410 NE 78th Ave, died Saturday, July 27, 1968. Simpson was born in Plattsmouth, Neb. He worked as a custodian. Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Ross Hollywood Chapel, with burial in Rose City Cemetery. Survivors include his wife Carrol R.; one son Richard H. of Rialto, Calif.; two daughters, Mrs. Ruth Edmonds, Salem, and Mrs. Esther Johansen, Portland; 12 grandchildren; one great-grandson and several nieces and nephews.
