DUNCAN, ETTA E. East Lansing

Born May 7, 1902 in Mayfield, MI, died December 3, 1998, at the age of 96. Mrs. Duncan was a resident of Independence Village and has lived in East Lansing for more than 60 years. She taught school in the Lansing and East Lansing School Districts and retired after 27 years of service. The Peoples Church of East Lansing, of which she was a member for many years, played an important role in her life. In 1962 she was preceded in death by her husband, Clifford W. Duncan, a Professor in the Bio-chemistry Department at Michigan State University. She is survives by many nieces and nephews, and countless friends. Funeral services will be Monday, December 7, 10 a.m. at the Gorsline-Runciman, East Lansing, with the Rev. Dr. Charles (Lee) Filker of Peoples Church officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery.
