MARNIE ANNE WALL, 39, of Winfield, Kansas passed away at her home Thursday, February 11, 2010.

Born on June 20, 1970 in Sedan, Kansas, she was the daughter of Roger D. Stockton and Judy Dewey. She was raised and received her education in Winfield and graduated from Winfield High School in 1988. Marnie went to work at the Focus Developmental Center and also attended Butler County Community College where she received her degree in nursing.

She later was employed at the Sumner County Regional Medical Center in Wellington and Twin Rivers in Winfield. Marnie also worked at the Kansas Veterans Home and was most recently employed at Wesley Medical Center.

She attended the Second Baptist Church. Marnie loved spending time with her family, photography, reading, camping and her cats.

Her family includes: Her daughters: Elayna and Jamie of Winfield, KS; Her mother and step-father: Judy Dewey and Charles Elrod of Winfield, KS; Her brother: Jason Stockton and wife Lori of Winfield, KS; Her step-brother: Mike Slayden and wife Melinda of Winfield, KS; Her companion: Dale Ives of Winfield, KS; Her nieces: Mallyssa and Rita Stockton; and Her nephew: Calvin Stockton. She was preceded in death by her father, Roger; and her infant son, Hornza.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M., February 17, 2010 at Miles Funeral Service in Winfield. Interment will follow at Union-Graham Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions be made to help defray funeral costs. Contributions may be made through the funeral home.
