Private funeral services were held at the Richard Pierce Funeral Service for Henry B. Lane, of 10 Fern Hill Drive, Ross, Calif., who died Wednesday at the California Veterans Flame.

He was a native of Texas and has resided at the Veterans Home for several years. He was a lieutenant in the U.S. Navy during World War II.

Mr. Lane is survived by his wife, Sally Lane of Ross; a daughter, Mrs. Sally Lane Kirby of Stockton; and three sons, Dr. Clinton Lane of the U.S. Navy, Dr. Barton Lane of New York City, and Denison Lane of Kodiac, Alaska. Also surviving is one brother, two sisters and two grandchildren.

Interment was in Tulocay Cemetery.

Although the obituary states interment was to take place at Tulocay Cemetery in Napa, Henry was interred in the St. Helena Public Cemetery, in St. Helena on March 12, 1971.
