TEMPLETON - Barbara I. (Watson) Cote, 74, of Henshaw Road died yesterday in Henry Heywood Memorial Hospital after being stricken ill at home.
She leaves her husband of 54 years, Normand R. Cote; three sons, Norman W. Cote and Robert F. Cote, both of Fitchburg, and Paul R. Watson of Rindge, N.H.; two daughters, Patricia Dansereau of Phillipston and Sharon A. LeBlanc of Templeton; 17 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren. She was born in Leominster, daughter of the late William and Irene (Palmer) Watson.
She last worked for Wray Plastics of Winchendon as an assembler. She previously worked for 10 years at Simplex Time Recorder Co. in Gardner as an inspector.
She was a member of Holy Cross Church of East Templeton.
The funeral will be held Monday from Dufault-Boucher Funeral Home, 110 Nichols St., with a Mass at 10 a.m. in Holy Cross Church, Lake Avenue, East Templeton. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Leominster. Calling hours at the funeral home are 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday.
