Dr. Enoch Wright Kent died suddenly at the home of his brother-in-law, Thomas McCabe, at Crown Point, N.Y., September 28. The funeral was held at his late residence at Moriah Corners Sunday at 11 a.m., the Rev. J.H. Long officiating. Burial was at Port Henry under Masonic auspices. Dr. Kent was born in this town September 27, 1942. He graduated from the University of Vermont in 18?6, and was surgeon at the U.S. general hospital and Baxter hospital during the rebellion. He married Mary J. Moore in 1870, and they resided in Crown Point for several years, when they came to this place where they lived until nine years ago, when they moved to Moriah. He leaves a wife and one son, Leslie, also any adopted son, Fred
